Creating a Vision

The Vista on Seward Hill immediately matched the vision that Nia and Nyika had for their wedding. There was no doubt they’d have their wedding at such a beautiful location! The Vista on Seward Hill has a whimsical, hill country vibe. It’s home to picturesque waterfalls, lovely gardens, and gorgeous live-oak trees. The architecture and decor of the venue set the scene for some great photo opportunities, which James Willis Photography took advantage of.

As beautiful as the venue is, it didn’t do all the work! Bouquets of Austin provided yellow, blue, and white floral arrangements. They were accompanied by greenery that matches the natural scenery of the venue perfectly. Carla Taylor Beauty did a beautiful look, using earthy, shimmery tones that contrasted elegantly with Nia’s bouquet. 

A Stress Free Day

Events Unleashed helped ensure that Nia and Nyika’s special day would go smoothly. The venue aided in that, too! The Vista on Seward Hill provided a DJ from Texas Pro DJ for music throughout the event. An officiant from Greater Mount Zion led their ceremony, which included braiding the Cord of Three Strands and jumping of the broom. 

No wedding is complete without food! Pearl Snap Catering provided a lovely meal. All the guests spoke about how good everything tasted. Cinful Cakes made a four-tier cake adorned with botanicals that matched the yellow, white, and blue flowers supplied by Bouquets of Austin.
